Meet the Staff CleobethraModerator Cleobethra, or Bethy, as she prefers to be called, is the woman responsible for the "Kinks or Vanilla?" madness in our little Gerry world. She was first diagnosed with GALS after seeing the USA Network's Original Movie, Attila, on January, 30th 2001. Bethy was obsessed with the fiery intensity of Gerry's characters. Honorable characters, tortured characters, devious characters..she loved them all. She introduced her new friends to Gerry's Kinks & Vanilla, (When Gerry plays bad boys, that's kinks and when he's a good boy, that's vanilla) and it soon grew into a major piece of the world of GALS. Christmas Day 2005, Bethy received a phone call from Gerry. At the time she had taken off work to care for her Mother who was dying of Cancer. Gerry got word of it and called Bethy to wish her family a Merry Christmas.  In June 2006, at the GB Fan Convention in Las Vegas, Gerry surprised his fans by showing up to greet them! Shorty before leaving he asked to see "the girl he called on Christmas", and she was able to have a few minutes on stage with him. It meant so much to Bethy to thank Gerry in person for calling her on Christmas. Her Mother died two months after Gerry called, and Bethy wanted to thank him for also giving her Mother some joy in her last months. Those few moments with Gerry on stage is something she will treasure for the rest of her life. Bethy is the Founder/CEO of "Kinks Or Vanilla?" Productions. She creates Signatures, Avatars, Signs, and GALS Trading Cards to spread GALS love.  Bethy is also the Director of the Drool Mop-Up Team. She rules the mop-boys, (various Gerry characters who save the GALS from the drool that often overruns the board) The Mop-Boys keep the GALS safe when the drool rises to dangerous levels. Drool is a common occurrence when looking at videos or pictures of Gerard Butler. Bethy is also known for having an irrational obsession with Gerry's silver bracelet. She hopes one day, Gerry will be kind enough to let her try it on for a moment. She promises to give it back! Gerard Butler is her hero. He saved her, and her dreams. Bethy vows to one day share the screen with "The Butler." |
