Meet the Staff Susan SporranAdministrator Susan~Sporran first saw Gerry on New Years Eve 2004 in POTO. She literally had one of those OMG moments as he led Christine towards the Phantom’s lair. After seeing the “real Gerry” on Leno in January she went back to see POTO again and it snowballed from there (through 12 screenings of POTO, 11 of DF, 7 of GOTL, 7 of B&G… how many will 300 get?)  In March 2005, she met her first fellow fans on the sidewalk at CBS studios. Though she wasn't one of the lucky 16 allowed into the taping of Craig Ferguson she got to watch Gerry that night as he interacted with many fans after the show. Three weeks later she did get into the taping of the Leno show (after camping out on the sidewalk at the NBC Studios overnight). She had a most memorable encounter with him afterwards during which she tucked $5 into his pants, got to hear him say "Sporran Tart" five times, got a hug and had her tits signed (well, her shirt actually). You need to read the encounter to get the full impact. Susan was the first member to join the GALS site after Dr. Em opened it. She happily spends most waking (and working) hours here and is proud to have been named one of the site's moderators. Her office is the home of Mr. Gerry Wonderful and Gerek MacManly, two of the first of the mandolls. Susan is the “coiner-of-phrases” like FANmily, Gerry Juice Junkies and SNOGS (Synergy Network Of Gerry Supporters).  In her real life (no lie, she has one) Susan is the Controller for a busy home improvement contractor, she has been married to a very understanding guy since 1991 and has two feline fur babies. GALS is not her first addiction, she is also a sober and grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous since 1989, so she feels a great emotional and spiritual connection to the character of Johnnie Donne in The Jury, and to Gerry's own personal victory over the demons of alcoholism. She loves to read; travel (Vegas and Scotland are favorite destinations); attend movies and live-theater productions, explore new dining experiences; play with digital photography; and get together with her SNOGSistahs. She enjoys watching Miami Ink, Survivor, The Amazing Race and House Hunters.
