  1. Bounty Hunter and Playing for Keeps
  2. I'm jumping in to boot off GEOSTORM and PLAYING FOR KEEPS. GeoStorm was a bit of a mess and Playing for Keeps could not figure out if it was a comedy, a family movie, or about kids and soccer. Nope they gotta go.
  3. Come on GALS! We can't let the site down! I just sent a bit mores, we can do it!
  4. Gonna have to say good bye to Frosty. Leo's time has come.
  5. I haven't been a part of this game in ages and ages BUT if I am allowed to jump in (sorry it's nearing the end) Then I would have to throw my vote to poor Crispy Creedy.
  6. Just added a little more to the pot via Paypal. IF Gals ever goes down then I will fall into a pit of depression I'm not sure i would get out of. I may not post here like I used to, but it is a part of me.
  7. paypaled some a couple days ago, we need to keep this open
  8. guess who is leaving on a jet plane!?!?! That's right, THIS GAL!! nope sorry, not calming down. I just booked my flight, hotel and a car through expedia (saved me over $100) I'm spending a bit of time with my mom so I needed the car and a friend is going to be joining me this year. She says she has to work out the details I say "YOU'RE GOING!"
  9. TWO THUMBS ENTHUSIASTICALLY WAY WAY UP. Our gathering was good holiday fun. You all made it that way, and I thank all of you for the laughter. LOTS of laughter.
  10. I say Mike's time has come to say goodbye. So bubye MIKEY!! Sam for the WIN!
  11. Poopie. I missed the chat session! I wanted to squeeeeee about this
  12. sent some. and I will check on the progress. No gift needed, put the postage toward the fee. Yeah I know it's not much but still.
  13. I'm in. And I'm fine with it not being in June too
  14. You all amaze me.. And Cat, Sheri, KB? :thewoman:     seriously, no joke, your posts said what I could not
  15. As a winner of one of the auction baskets this year I can honestly say that the donations were phenomenal. I was thrilled with everything I saw and was fortunate enough to actually win one. Whether they were made or given I was blown away. So speaking for this GAL alone I say thank you and BRAVA to all those that donated!
  16. I have a suggestion for the charity aspect. I see comments about stick with one charity and how splitting may be problematic. I can understand the sentiment but I really don't think the number of charities really matters. HOWEVER, I think a possible answer is to not designate one night to TST and one night to AEOA. Both nights should all go to RPCF and then split equally, and I believe that is actually what happens but it is confusing. JMHO but by splitting the nights some may want an item but really want to support the other cause more, so hold back. Or vice versa. Also if the charity aspect is about RPCF then we can highlight the charities that they support, showcase them and bring them in as we have been doing, but not making each night solely about them individually. Maybe then it will be easier to make one night more "GERRY." This year Friday was supposed to be Gerry Fun Night, but it was also about AOEA. That completely split the focus and made it much more difficult to "get our Gerry perve on" as it were. Let's face it you behave differently around company Make sense?
  17. Any scene Marek is in gets my juices flowing. Love the river scene, when he shoots the long bow right before rescuing Claire(that little sneer of concentration gets me clenchy), sword fighting on the battlements of the castle. $80 for Rainforest Cafe?!?!?!?!?!
  18. It was so wonderful to see you all again too! Susan you went above and beyond as usual. I too feel a recharge and a sense of purpose. TST will always have a very special place in my heart and I will continue to support it as well as Angels and Sam, but I feel the need to work locally and from there grow just as you said Susan. And thank you to Gerry for the VERY upbeat message!
  19. Well it had to end. Sniff. It was a blast ladies. Love you all and no goodbye. Until next time
  20. Went with my husband and 15 yr old son, we all loved it. Ok hubs really liked it but my son and I loved it! Actually he just woke up and came out of his room. First words out of his mouth? "That movie is still awesome!" True story.
  21. Gonna see it tomorrow night with hubs and my teenage son. I will have the boy post a review as well cu I have no doubt he will love it!
  22. I just registered!!! I may not be on the site all the time anymore but I am a GAL for life. I need me some GAL time
  23. No sinking feeling here. It's nice to see him out and about with someone he obviously enjoys being with. They look lovely together. I love the playfulness I see as well.
  24. Another GALS Convention down. Couldn't go this year and couldn't do the virtual con because I worked all weekend and had all this other stuff keep me off my computer almost completely for 3 days straight. HMMPHH! I had hoped to be a part via UStream but the world had different plans. BUT and this s a big BUT I have enjoyed trolling GALS and FB for all the con posts and pics I could get my typing little fingers on Made me wish I was there of course, but also made me feel somewhat connected to it. SO I am looking forward to more pics and stories and hoping we get a resurgence of chatting I am as bad as anyone for not checking in and perving at least on occasion. Sheesh, used to do it on a minute by minute basis, DAMN REAL LIFE! Anyway. We gots lots of new stuff to drool over (yeah yeah I know the hair) he is still HOT! Love you GALS
