Phantom's Lady Rose
Does anyone know anything about this? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0488928/ This has shown up on IMDb and it lists Gerry as "unconfirmed" in the cast list, although when you click on the poster, his name and picture are on the poster. The trailer is available, and there are apparently six different stories told in this movie, which was released in 2005, post POTO. Stellan Skarsgard is one of the six prominent players in the trailer, along with Eva Mendez, Julie Delpy, Kathy Bates, Charlie Sheen, and Imelda Staunton. Gerry is NOT in the trailer at all. Stellan Skarsgard is not one of the named stars on the poster, though he is the subject of one of the six stories. This DVD is supposedly available to obtain from Argentina, and supposedly has been bought and seen by various ones that post on IMDb. This movie is NOT listed in any of the career lists or resumes of Gerry, yet this has popped up on IMDb, and it has been put in his career listing there. Just wondering if anyone else had ever heard of this in relation to Gerry. I feel like it is incorrect information - why would he be listed as "unconfirmed?" Any information forthcoming would be appreciated. PLR.......
Lady Ski Bum
This is a puzzle. How would it be 'unconfirmed' on a movie that has already been made? The Gals website is sooooo great about keeping up with 'The Man' that I can't imagine one of his movies slipped through un-noticed. We are updated when he takes a bike ride. My guess a typo? discoveringme
Hmmm... That's a new one on me as well. I don't recall seeing that on IMDB before so I'm a bit Perhaps someone else will have more information? It does seem odd that a movie made back in 2005 is still listing a cast member as "unconfirmed." *shrugs*
Hobbes
This might start to answer the question (a comment from someone who has seen the dvd): by RandomAxeOfViolence (Fri Mar 13 2009 01:26:38) Ignore this User | Report Abuse Reply UPDATED Fri Mar 13 2009 05:35:36 I bought this DVD online from moviemart in India. Really fast delivery to UK too! Spelling Bee is awesome! Some of the other shorts are not so great but 'The Ingrate' with Kathy Bates is also worth a look. The cover lists 7 shorts but there are only 6 on the DVD. 'Please!' starring Gerard Butler isn't on the disc. http://imdb.com/mymovies/list?l=30520917 Why his picture is still on the cover of the dvd (other than as a marketing ploy-but how is that legal?) I have no idea.
discoveringme
Ah, that makes a bit more sense. So "Please" was supposed to be included but didn't make the DVD for whatever reason. Well, I'm glad to know that it isn't some film that somehow escaped our notice. "Please" is an amazing performance, btw, for anyone that hasn't seen it.

I was blown away first time I saw it. It's in GALS Multimedia
AbandonThought
Thanks for doing the digging on this! I noticed "Guilty Hearts" popped up on IMDB a few weeks ago and was also extremely confused. I kind of shrugged it off thinking that someone had altered the image of the DVD cover, and that the movie had nothing to do with Gerry at all. It's good to feel like I finally know the truth!
